Dr. Weng helps people become the best version of themselves.
He propels individuals, teams, and organizations forward through leadership and executive coaching and facilitation. He has the joy of designing, developing, and delivering leadership and team development solutions ranging from one-time workshops to longer development strategies that involve workshops and 360 feedback solutions using industry-leading platforms and strategies.
Some of his favorite topics to work through include helping people manage authority, managing imposter syndrome, change management, strengths-based coaching, and supporting professional development and transitions into new roles. His work allows him to broaden his horizons and work with a large variety of people across sectors, levels, and industries.
In addition to his work with leaders and organizations as a certified leadership coach and team coach, He has the privilege of serving as adjunct faculty in graduate-level leadership coach certificate courses (accredited as ICF Level 2 and AATC for leadership coaching and team coaching, respectively) at the University of San Diego. His commitment to developing the coaching community includes offering services as a Coach Supervisor and ICF Mentor Coach.
His work in leadership development is backed by a combination of research and practical leadership experience and is informed by his doctoral scholarship around group relations, group dynamics, and leader and leadership development. He has deep interests in leadership education and leadership development with particular lenses focused on how to develop leaders and leadership educators through experiential learning pedagogies such as case-in-point and group relations. He also serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Knauss School of Business at the University of San Diego.
As a former higher education leader, he had nearly a decade of progressive leadership experience. Most recently, he led a cross-functional segment of business, including teams that provided direction and leadership to 200+ student and career employees to oversee a portfolio of $10M in student-initiated programs while supporting the leadership and organizational development functions within the organization.
